Massage Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Thermêa spa village in Whitby, Ontario.

About the Role

The Massage Therapist will provide various types of massage therapy treatments to our guests, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and prenatal massage. They will also be responsible for welcoming guests, performing services in accordance with established protocols, and advising and responding to guest requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide massage therapy treatments to guests
  • Welcome guests and perform services in accordance with established protocols
  • Advise and respond to guest requests
  • Actively contribute to building a loyal client base and the continued improvement of the guest experience
  • Respect the organization's established policies and procedures
  • Provide safe, effective, relaxing services using advanced massage techniques
  • Ensure the proper, safe use of spa equipment

Requirements

  • Certificate of Registration, in good standing, with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
  • Proof of Professional insurance – malpractice and liability
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, managers, and other associates in English
