Housekeeping Supervisor Role Overview

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and manage cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Organize and direct the activities of housekeeping teams.
  • Conduct inspections of designated areas to ensure quality standards.
  • Oversee staff performance and provide guidance.
  • Manage outsourced services related to housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Evaluate staff performance through regular appraisals.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and uniforms.
  • Oversee in-house laundry operations.
  • Assign and schedule duties for housekeeping personnel.
  • Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services.
  • Ensure adherence to local health and sanitation standards.
  • Conduct audits for infection control measures.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints effectively.
