Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Beaconsfield, working on a hybrid basis. As a key member of our engineering function, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality maintainable code using Java, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing high-quality maintainable code using Java, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborating closely with other developers on projects involving Front End and Back End technologies.
- Working extensively throughout multiple agile methodologies implementation cycles.
- Helping lead technical discussions about new features and products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification relevant to computer science.
- 5+ years of experience working with web-based applications.
- Extensive knowledge of Java, including its syntaxes, concepts, and data structures.
- Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker and orchestration system Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying microservices through CI/CD pipeline.
