Front End Team Lead

Vicky Luck Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-end operations of our store, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to sales staff to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Authorize Payments: Process payments by cheque, credit/debit card, and cash, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
- Prepare Reports: Generate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, providing excellent customer service.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee and direct the activities of sales staff, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
- Sell Products: Sell products on a retail basis, meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Process Transactions: Process transactions, including lottery tickets, alcohol, and tobacco sales, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling restricted products, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Support for Diversity and Inclusion: Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Work Schedule: Permanent, 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
