About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Wallys Mini Mart. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Sales Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a tidy store environment.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers, promote products, and participate in in-store events and promotions.
  • Monitor Store Entrance and Exits: Ensure all entrances and exits are secure, and request proof of payment when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
What We Offer
