About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at 0804847 B.C. LTD. O/A CIRCLE K. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register Systems: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers, promote products, and participate in in-store events and promotions.
  • Verify Age and Process Age-Restricted Sales: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly around the store.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent communication skills, be accurate and detail-oriented, and demonstrate flexibility in a team environment.
