About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Kings County Honda. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose: Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action.
  • Repair and Maintain: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems, and perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running at optimal levels.
  • Estimate and Advise: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, complete reports to record problems and work performed, and ensure all work is done to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 5 years or more of experience as an Automotive Service Technician, or equivalent education and training.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, and a valid driver's license.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with the ability to work in a dusty, dirty, and noisy environment.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
