About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Kings County Honda. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose: Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems, and perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running at optimal levels.
  • Estimate and Quote: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide accurate quotes to customers.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Administration: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician, or equivalent education and training.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possession of an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, with good judgement and a team player attitude.
