The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for executing all maintenance and repair duties related to the hotel's infrastructure. Their role is crucial in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of guests through high-quality workmanship and a proactive mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine inspections of the property to detect potential issues and prioritize maintenance tasks;
- Inform the supervisor of any major concerns that require attention and suggest a plan of action;
- Respond swiftly and effectively to maintenance requests from guests and other departments;
- Carry out necessary repairs promptly to reduce any inconvenience to guests;
- Implement necessary measures when repairs cannot be completed immediately;
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks;
- Comply with health and safety standards;
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance the guest experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Training in building maintenance;
- A minimum of two years' experience in facility maintenance;
- Self-sufficiency and a strong sense of accountability;
- Attention to detail and thoroughness;
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities;
- Proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Effective communication skills in both French and English, verbally and in writing.
