About the Role

The Lead Analyst, Planning and Reporting will be a key representative of Northbridge Financial Corporation at the corporate level, supporting corporate initiatives and operational excellence through key liaisons with sales, underwriting, and the executive team. This role will provide insights and analysis into how the company operates, identifies areas for improvement, and develops strategies for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced working knowledge of business intelligence tools, including PowerBI and MicroStrategy.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, leveraging excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Design and deliver presentations to various audiences, showcasing strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze complex data sets, identifying trends and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and/or related on-the-job experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar or related role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with an awareness of potential blind spots and a willingness to learn and adapt.
