Military Aviation Training Specialist

Role and Responsibilities
The selected individual will be tasked with delivering military aerospace technical, aviation, and operational knowledge to assess both standalone and interconnected aerospace systems, along with the collaboration of various devices and systems encompassed in a Training Systems Integration (TSI) initiative.
To fulfill all TSI and Verification & Validation (V&V) requirements for military programs, the candidate must possess substantial experience as military aircrew, demonstrating expertise in multiple domains, aerospace systems specialization, and/or instructional roles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conducting verification and validation for synthetic training systems:
- Develop, organize, and implement V&V testing procedures.
- Create and sustain Training & Mission Test Protocols along with relevant scenarios and lesson outlines.
- Provide engineering support (software and hardware) throughout all project stages by leveraging specialized knowledge.
- Evaluate simulators to confirm that design, client, training, and regulatory standards have been satisfactorily met within budgetary and scheduling constraints.
- Assist in customer acceptance and device certification by the appropriate governmental entities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to supply insights to prospective clients (as necessary) and aid in cost estimations for Proposals and Bids.
- Identify and engage in the early resolution of defects during project execution.
- Document testing outcomes and offer recommendations to the project team to evaluate project risks.
- Actively participate in V&V continuous enhancement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a Rotary Wing Military Aircrew.
Preference will be granted to individuals with experience in:
- Complex military missions and systems
- Tactical aircraft systems (Radar, EO, EW/ESM)
- Flight instruction
- Maritime Patrol
- Tactical/Combat operations
A robust technical foundation, prior experience in simulation, familiarity with training needs assessment, crew training experience, Test & Evaluation expertise, knowledge of armament, simulator qualification criteria, and relevant aircrew training/testing/checking credits are advantageous and will be utilized to evaluate the most suitable candidate.
