Position Overview
  • Up to 40 hours per week
  • Part-time/Full-time options available

Responsibilities in Patient-Centered Care

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is accountable for delivering safe, effective, and suitable medication therapy while fostering an environment of employee and customer engagement. This role is crucial in achieving excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, and operational efficiencies.
  • Emphasis on clinical services (e.g., medication assessments, disease management)
  • Develop care plans, monitor progress, and document outcomes
  • Administer immunizations
  • Assess the suitability of medication therapies
  • Track medication adherence
  • Gather and record pertinent patient, medication, and health information
  • Suggest over-the-counter products and supplements
  • Address patient inquiries requiring therapeutic knowledge and clinical evaluation
  • Mentor pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted tasks
Qualifications & Skills
  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow the business
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and staff motivation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with front-store personnel to enhance patient care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
