Position Overview
  • Up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities for Patient-Centered Care

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is tasked with ensuring safe, effective, and suitable medication therapy while actively fostering an environment of employee and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in achieving excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, and operational efficiencies.
  • Emphasis on clinical services (e.g., medication assessments, disease management)
  • Develop care plans, monitor progress, and document findings
  • Administer immunizations
  • Assess the suitability of medication therapies
  • Oversee medication adherence
  • Gather and record pertinent patient, medication, and health information
  • Recommend over-the-counter products and supplements
  • Address patient inquiries requiring therapeutic knowledge and clinical evaluation
  • Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in restricted activities
Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
  • At least 1 year of experience in a managerial pharmacy role (preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to expand the business
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate staff
  • Capacity to collaborate with front-store personnel to enhance patient care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
