About the Role:

Rogers Communications is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Promotions Ambassador to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding brand representation at promotional events in an energetic and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute station events and on-site promotions, representing the company with professionalism and poise.
  • Interact with clients, staff, and the public with enthusiasm and authenticity, building strong relationships and fostering a positive brand image.
  • Set up broadcast remotes with all required components, ensuring technical, prizing, staff, vehicle, and signage are in place.
  • Post to station social media accounts, showcasing events and promotions to a wider audience.
  • Maintain promotional signage, draw boxes, entry forms, and equipment, ensuring a professional and cohesive brand presence.
  • Attend station and client events as needed, representing the company with confidence and expertise.
  • Provide detailed post-event wrap reports in a timely manner, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Drive and maintain station vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Other duties as required, supporting the marketing team in achieving their goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous event experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Punctual and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Experience and knowledge of posting to various social media platforms, with a focus on creating engaging content.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, with a valid full Alberta Class 5 driver's license and a current driver's abstract.
