Plant Operations Director

CertainTeed Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead our Winnipeg plant operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to increase customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and capital expenditure.
- Oversee and promote effective Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and practices.
- Lead the plant in World Class Manufacturing initiatives to reduce costs, improve processes, skills, and technology.
- Manage and develop key financials, including budgeting, purchasing, and capital expenditure.
- Create a culture of employee engagement, trust, and talent development.
- University degree in a related technical field (Science or Engineering or equivalent) and/or 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead cultural change and create winning teams.
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and excellent communications skills to influence and build partnerships at all levels.
- Expert understanding of Autonomous Maintenance, Professional Maintenance, and Kaizen problem-solving.
- Advanced skills in planning to manage broad groups of plant functions.
- Strong financial acumen to diagnose and resolve business challenges.
