Network Infrastructure Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are in search of a proficient IT Network Analyst to become a vital part of our Infrastructure and Systems division. The successful candidate will possess a robust technical foundation in network management and problem resolution, concentrating on maintaining the integrity, security, and efficiency of our IT systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Network Management: Oversee and sustain the organization's network framework, which encompasses routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and various other systems.
- Performance Monitoring and Enhancement: Evaluate network functionality and pinpoint areas for enhancement. Execute strategies to boost the reliability, speed, and scalability of network and system operations.
- Server Management: Implement and oversee servers, both on-site and remotely, utilizing VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V, ensuring data protection and timely security updates.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Deliver technical assistance and troubleshooting for network-related challenges to end-users and IT personnel. Act swiftly to address network disruptions to minimize operational downtime.
- Documentation and Compliance: Keep precise records of network setups, processes, and troubleshooting methodologies. Update documentation for projects, including vendor agreements.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with diverse teams to facilitate IT projects and initiatives. Partner closely with system administrators, cybersecurity experts, and other IT professionals to ensure cohesive integration of network components with other technological systems.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in network management and support.
- Expertise in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco routers and switches, virtualization with VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, SQL, and Azure AD.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve intricate network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effective collaboration in a team setting and professional interaction with stakeholders.
- Preferred industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience with Palo Alto Network firewalls, cloud-sharing applications, and Citrix technologies is also advantageous.
