Job Summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication is a leading fabricator, installer, and distributor of concrete reinforcing steel and related products. As an IT Network Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments of IT systems and processes, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users, troubleshoot IT issues, and offer timely solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to understand requirements, address challenges, and deliver effective IT solutions.
  4. Endpoint Security and Firewall Management: Implement and manage advanced persistent threat (APT) endpoint security solutions and configure, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls to enforce network security policies.
  5. Multi-Cloud Connectivity and Network Monitoring: Design and implement secure connectivity solutions for multi-cloud environments and utilize network monitoring tools to continuously monitor network traffic and analyze security events.
  6. Incident Response and Documentation: Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures, and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and security policies.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Network Analyst or similar role, with a focus on IT architecture and security.
  3. Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification preferred.
  4. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
  5. Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Splunk.
  6. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are desirable.
