About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at RONA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve store appearance
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, to ensure profitability
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans and strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Provide coaching and training to staff to improve their skills and performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
