About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer Assistant to join our team at Aryon Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Assist in the transportation of construction materials, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Safely assemble and disassemble concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in the mixing, pouring, and spreading of materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Assist in Drilling and Blasting: Support drilling and blasting operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with the construction team.
  • Clean Up Spills and Contaminants: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, maintaining a safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Assist in the handling and transportation of heavy construction materials and equipment.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
