Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Analyst to join our team at Enercare. As a key member of our IT Governance, Risk and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of IT risks and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Governance
    • Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular reviews of IT procedures and controls to identify gaps and implement remediation plans.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT governance practices are integrated into business operations.
    • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure IT risks are adequately managed.
  • IT Compliance
    • Assist with the development and implementation of IT compliance programs, including SOX and PCI DSS.
    • Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure IT compliance programs are effective.
    • Develop and maintain IT process documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and senior management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Provide training and support to IT and business teams on IT governance and compliance practices.
    • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate IT risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Designations and certifications in IT governance, risk management, and compliance (e.g., CISA, GRCP, CGRC, CIA).
  • Advanced knowledge of SOX, PCI DSS, and related industry standards and frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
