Position Overview

The role of a Cellular Telephone Technician involves ensuring the optimal performance of telecommunications systems. This position is essential for maintaining the quality and reliability of communication services.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires on-site customer service, where technicians will interact directly with clients to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections on telecommunications equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain telephone systems, wiring, and related hardware.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace faulty telephone equipment.
  • Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to switching systems and networks.
  • Document and maintain detailed test and service reports.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of repair personnel as needed.
  • Install various telecommunication systems and circuits in central offices and switching centers.

  • Proficient in telephone and telecommunication systems.
