Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Beavertails. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and team player.
