Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and guidance to project managers and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance and support to field personnel.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of project progress, including schedules, budgets, and quality control metrics.
  • Provide regular reports to management on project status, including any issues or concerns.
  • Work closely with the operations manager to ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Construction Engineering Technician, Civil Engineering Technologist, or similar education considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of industry experience, with 5+ years of demonstrated effective people management experience.
  • Sewer & Water and/or Grading experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for a construction industry environment.
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
  • Work requires regular travel.
