Nuclear Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Nuclear Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field personnel
- Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers
- Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
- Develop and implement programs to maintain good client relations
- Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
- Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
- Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover
- Maintain daily diaries for record-keeping purposes
- Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for direct reports
- 5+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a superintendent or leadership capacity
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes and software programs
- Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
Regular, reliable attendance is required. Work productively and meet deadlines timely. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. Perform work safely and effectively, understanding and following oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
