Job Title: Senior Production Support Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Support Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our Energy Business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Energy Business applications, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the ETRM systems (Energy Trading Risk Management) team to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
  • Work on various commodity-related projects, leveraging database and SQL skills to drive business growth.
  • Provide production support and work closely with systems teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to application deployment and test environment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant hands-on experience as a Production support analyst or related field.
  • Experience working with all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Experience working with Linux or Solaris operating systems.
  • Experience working with SQL queries/database or Oracle.
  • Experience working with shell Scripts/batch.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple activities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a field such as computer science, computer engineering, commerce, or related field required.

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years' experience with commodities (ideally 3-5 years) within Capital Markets.
  • FI or Banking experience is an asset.
  • Experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk.
  • Experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Oracle is preferred.

Work Arrangements:

Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
