Job Overview:

As a key member of our team at Intero Integrity Services, the Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the success of our commercial equipment. Reporting to the MFL Robotics Fulfilment Manager, this position will be responsible for assessing technical offers, collaborating with product engineering, and developing innovative solutions to improve operational equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess customer inquiries regarding the use of commercial equipment, ensuring alignment with product specifications and requirements.
  • Oversee the execution and testing of commercial products, ensuring seamless integration with customer requests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical product issues, providing expert guidance and support to internal teams.
  • Lead data-driven initiatives to continuously improve products, tracking issues, and forecasting impact and benefits.
  • Facilitate communication between commercial and engineering teams to ensure equipment meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Provide on-call support for Pipe Explorer field operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Support training and documentation for new product introductions, ensuring seamless adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical expertise and innovation.

Requirements:

  • University degree in mechatronics or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven technical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
  • Excellent computer skills, including data analysis and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with data logging, graphic visualization systems, and computer-aided design software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the inline inspection industry with MFL technologies.
  • Background in robotics and electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting.
