About the Role

Arcadis, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced International Legal Counsel / Compliance Specialist to join its in-house legal team. As a key member of the Intelligence global business area, you will provide comprehensive legal services and support to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support to the Intelligence Legal Director, management team, and senior leaders worldwide.
  • Develop and implement proactive protocols to identify and manage routine project risks within the Intelligence business area.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Legal, Compliance, and Privacy departments to drive professional growth and development of the legal team.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and processes to improve efficiency and risk management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities requiring general legal advice as required by the business.
Requirements
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or an equivalent body.
  • At least four years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house or from a top law firm.
  • Experience conducting legal research on public contracting laws, negotiating and drafting complex agreements in a professional services sector, and managing risk for related projects.
  • Collaboration experience with stakeholders across a complex matrix-structured organization, with a focus on client needs and adaptability.
