About the Role

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Ingestion and Processing
    • Design and implement data ingestion processes using Azure Data Factory to extract data from various sources.
    • Develop and maintain data processing workflows using Azure Data Lake to transform and load data into target systems.
  • Data Quality and Governance
    • Develop and implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Design and implement metadata management processes to track data lineage and data mapping between source and target systems.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports using Tableau and Power BI to provide insights to stakeholders.
    • Design and implement data visualization dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions.
    • Communicate technical data solutions to non-technical stakeholders and provide training and support as needed.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and related tools and technologies.
    • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
    • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • AZ-900/DP-900 certifications preferred.
