About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Aide at David Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Household Management: Assist with meal preparation, manage household supplies, and maintain a tidy and organized living space.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of our residents and property by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, staff, and management to ensure a positive and supportive living environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Our household is a non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: This is a live-in position, with optional accommodation available at no charge. Note that this is not a condition of employment.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, initiative, organized, honesty, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
