About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Process Engineer to join our Minerals and Metals team in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical leadership across mineral processing project lifecycle, with a focus on concentrator mining projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in concentrator projects, including studies, FEED engineering, commissioning, execution, and optimization.
  • Approve and deliver process design in accordance with sound design principles, adhering to design practices and specifications.
  • Perform trade-off studies to optimize process configuration and maximize client financial objectives.
  • Manage the performance of Process Engineers, monitoring and assessing progress and activities.
  • Support project success through excellent communication skills and close coordination with Study Managers, Project Engineers, and Discipline Leads.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a strong background in mineral processing and/or chemical engineering. You will have a proven track record of leading projects to success, with a strong understanding of client-side decision making.

Key qualifications include:

  • Mineral Processing and/or Chemical Engineering degree with registration as a P. Eng.
  • 10-20 years' experience in concentrator projects, preferably a mix of design and execution in both engineering consulting and operational environments.
  • Experience in flotation, comminution, and tailings management.
  • Proven experience leading projects to success and understanding client-side decision making.
  • Testwork and process design experience in copper, molybdenum, gold, and nickel.
  • Solid experience in client management and strong reputation within the industry.

Salary range: $170-$220K. Expected salary variation is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
