About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortgage Development Manager to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Residential Financing team, you will play a critical role in helping Personal Banking clients achieve their goal of buying a home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement residential financing strategies for purchase, mortgage pre-approval, and external refinancing transactions.
  • Identify clients' financial needs and refer them to expert colleagues for specialized needs.
  • Establish and maintain lasting relationships with external real estate partners, including realtors and builders.
  • Communicate and work closely with internal partners to take charge of or refer clients and increase client retention.
  • Organize and participate in business development activities and events.
  • Apply established processes and procedures, ensuring compliance and risk management rules are followed.
  • Continuously develop and update knowledge of National Bank mortgage solutions and changes in the mortgage market.
About the Team

You will report to a Residential Financing Manager and work on a specialized team, collaborating with internal and external partners to develop your client base and meet their financial needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience or college diploma and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Business development experience.
  • Ability to work with business development objectives and a 100% commission-based salary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage different stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of mortgage credit solutions and financing products.
