Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Silvertip Resort in Canmore. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury in our staff accommodations, main clubhouse, and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean common areas on the resort and clubhouse/office areas to the highest quality and complete scheduled tasks on time.
  • Maintain and clean staff accommodation common areas as well as bedrooms upon departure checkout.
  • Clean and tidy up after events, ensuring that all areas used are restored to their original condition promptly.
  • Adapt from working in a team environment to working independently.
  • Assist with all other housekeeping services as needed and maintain good communication.
  • Participate in all Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department.

Requirements:

  • Position requires flexibility in shifts and schedule, with evening/weekend work required.
  • Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, bend, twist, kneel, and stand for a full shift.
  • Manual dexterity is required.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals.
