Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Coordinate Housekeeping Activities: Plan and coordinate the daily housekeeping schedule to ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Assist with Guest Services: Provide assistance to guests with any housekeeping-related issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work a 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
