As a Business Insurance Consultant reporting to the Director of Business Services, your primary responsibility will be to offer and sell insurance products tailored to the requirements of corporate clients. You will play a crucial role in generating a business volume that reflects your approach, fostering trustworthy relationships with clients, delivering consistent customer support, and ensuring client retention.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue business opportunities to create a customized business volume (including incoming inquiries, outreach, networking, referrals, etc.).Engage in networking events during and outside regular business hours.Participate in sales meetings to devise a proactive business development plan.Prepare or revise proposals based on client data.Analyze and comprehend client operations.Market and negotiate with various insurance providers.Present service options, comparisons, or renewals to clients.Finalize insurance agreements with insurers and ensure delivery.Coordinate schedules with account managers and determine strategic approaches.Address client endorsement requests and modify proposals accordingly.Oversee insurance policy payments.Assist clients during the claims process and provide support.Carry out various additional tasks as required.Your Qualifications and Skills:
Possess a Bachelor's degree.Hold or be interested in obtaining a license from the Financial Markets Authority.Demonstrate a passion for sales, customer service, and fieldwork.Exhibit strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.Have proficient computer skills (MS Office and Windows).Be bilingual (French and English, both spoken and written) to ensure an inclusive experience for English-speaking clients.
