Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Mrs. R Bakery Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and bakery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Teamwork: Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work

Language: English

Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week
