Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Kumare Restaurant and Bakery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent service.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
