We are in search of a proactive Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to spearhead our strategic financial initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee corporate financial planning, including the development of both short-term and long-term budgets, capital allocation, and forecasting.

This position is ideal for an accomplished leader who is enthusiastic about nurturing a culture of financial excellence and teamwork. You will drive the integration of advanced analytical tools and financial modeling techniques to support informed decision-making. Your leadership will guide continuous improvement efforts within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, identifying opportunities to enhance budgeting processes and overall financial performance.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage corporate financial planning, budget analysis, and special projects, delivering impactful financial insights and reports that facilitate strategic business decisions. Leading a team of Financial Analysts, you will ensure the accurate and timely preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Experience in Finance Transformation is highly advantageous, as you will lead strategic finance transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and budgeting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity
  2. CPA designation and a degree in business, finance, or economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial management, budgeting, and analysis
  4. Familiarity with accounting practices, principles, standards, and procedures
  5. Proficiency in developing financial models and conducting driver-based financial analysis
  6. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching and developing a high-performing team
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to senior leadership and Board members
  8. Ability to cultivate effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

As a condition of employment, candidates must obtain and maintain the required Police Security Clearance. Candidates must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years to qualify for this process.
