Position Overview

T DOT AUTOMATION INC is seeking a dedicated Robotics Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for enhancing our automation capabilities and ensuring the efficiency of our mechanical systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a relevant field.
Work Environment

The position will involve working at various locations, providing a diverse and engaging work experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation of mechanical installations and construction initiatives.
  • Support the development of designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools effectively.
  • Design and create tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Estimate project costs and required materials.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Draft contracts and tenders.
  • Establish standards and schedules for projects.
  • Oversee maintenance programs and the operation of mechanical facilities.
  • Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Conduct testing on machines and equipment.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Knowledgeable in programmable logic controllers (PLC).
  • Familiar with TCP/IP protocols.
Specialization Areas
  • Expertise in robotics or control systems.
  • Experience with industrial robotics.
Travel Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
