Key Responsibilities
· Identify and resolve curtain wall and window detailing challenges.
· Interpret and analyze architectural and structural drawings.
· Anticipate and address potential curtain wall issues proactively.
· Review specifications and assess risks for estimating purposes.
· Coordinate project schedules and collaborate with drafting and project management teams.
· Tackle outstanding drawing issues and seek necessary clarifications.
· Demonstrate expertise in curtain wall and window systems.
· Mentor junior and senior drafting personnel.
· Create and execute detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor, ensuring precision.
· Verify that all project specifications are met and communicated effectively.
· Prepare thermal performance reports utilizing Therm and Window 7.4.
· Develop mock-up drawings and oversee their execution.
· Conduct site inspections and generate comprehensive reports.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in curtain wall design.
· Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling.
· Familiarity with Inventor/BIM modeling is advantageous.
· Experience with Therm and Window 7.4 software.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
· Solid understanding of building science principles related to curtain wall and building envelope design.
· Proven leadership experience in project and team management.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
