Job Summary

IntactX Inc is seeking a skilled Telephone Line Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telephone equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Equipment: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Inspect and Test: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Replace: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to minimize downtime.
  • Work Safely: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Instruct apprentices and communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Document Work: Complete and maintain test and service reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Telephone Line Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
