Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable insurance products and services.
- Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support. This includes addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing).
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities - written, verbal, and listening.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to present information to prospective clients.
- Property & Casualty license (OTL license preferred/must be able to obtain).
This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
