IIQAF is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Reconciliation Specialist to become a vital part of our finance team. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the precision and promptness of financial account reconciliations. This position demands strong analytical capabilities, the ability to work independently, and a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily reconciliations of financial accounts and transactions
- Quickly address and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare comprehensive reports on reconciliations and variances for management review
- Work collaboratively with various departments to gather necessary information
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
- Proven experience in financial reconciliation
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Capability to work independently and manage pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
