About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development Leader to join our team at JSP Insurance & Financial Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate financial, human, and material resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring effective leadership and management.
  • Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and driving business results.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting the company's interests.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, driving leadership development and succession planning.
Supervision and Team Management
  • Supervise a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
  • Manage a large workload, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.

Work Arrangements
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 35 hours per week.
