Your Contributions to the Role
- Exhibit professionalism, tact, and diplomacy to represent the company positively
- Maintain an extensive understanding of products and services
- Engage naturally with customers
Your Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and discuss their requirements for boats
- Effectively promote sales to current clients
- Identify customer needs and guide them in purchasing new or pre-owned products
- Adhere to established sales and quoting processes
- Address objections from potential customers
- Tailor communication styles to convey information effectively to diverse audiences
- Stay informed about new products, services, competitor activities, and market research
- Establish and nurture relationships with new clients while expanding connections within existing accounts
- Manage customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate personnel when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer interactions, and meeting details
- Collaborate with the Location Manager and Director of Sales to develop and implement an annual sales strategy
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales experience is advantageous
- Pleasure Craft Operators Card is mandatory
- Valid driver's license is required
- Availability to work irregular hours, including weekends during peak times
- Willingness to travel for sales meetings and customer appointments
- Occasional overtime may be necessary during busy seasons
