Exceptional Projects Require Outstanding Talent
As a Field Engineer at Tutor Perini, reporting directly to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting site foremen and superintendents with management, quality assurance, safety protocols, and scheduling.
· Developing work plans that detail necessary equipment and material procurement.
· Contributing to the formulation of concrete, grout, and shotcrete mix designs.
· Conducting tests on concrete, grout, and shotcrete to ensure compliance with specifications.
· Overseeing subcontractor activities and ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
· Compiling daily reports of activities and maintaining quality documentation.
· Creating and implementing construction work plans and method statements.
· Utilizing Microsoft Excel for project management and reporting.
· Collaborating with TBM crews and supervision on tunneling operations.
· Ensuring that all construction activities are executed safely while meeting quality requirements.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of two years of experience in underground construction or heavy civil projects.
· Preferred experience in formwork installation and removal, rebar placement, and concrete operations.
· Familiarity with grout applications and admixtures.
· Knowledge of tunneling equipment and operations.
· Experience in supervising construction projects as a general contractor.
· Proficiency with hard rock main beam and/or slurry TBMs is advantageous.
· Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
