Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABA Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Behavioural Intervention Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers, BCBA's, and therapists to provide innovative educational and therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and Training: Provide guidance and training to teachers and staff on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles and behaviour management strategies.
  • Functional Assessments and Treatment Protocols: Conduct thorough functional assessments and develop relevant treatment protocols to support client progress.
  • Ongoing Supervision and Evaluation: Offer regular supervision, training, and evaluation of instructor therapists to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Oversee the development and implementation of client programs, including data analysis, program changes, and individualized plan updates.
  • Curriculum and IEP Development: Develop, update, and monitor students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and academic and behavioural goals.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and online courses to stay current with best practices in ABA and related fields.
  • Centre Policies and Procedures: Uphold the centre's policies and procedures, including ethical guidelines, to ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients and staff.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of direct clinical experience in behaviour analysis or intensive behavioural intervention.
  • Experience with Sequential Behavioural Treatment (SBT) and training is an asset.
  • BCBA certification or pursuit of BCBA certification is an asset.
