Job Summary

Heng Mei Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting welders and fitters in various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and tools from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Reading Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a clean and safe working area.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment and tools, such as cranes, forklifts, and scaffolding, under the supervision of experienced operators.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary. A permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week is available.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
