As a licensed professional with the provincial pharmacy regulatory body, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, dedicated to providing outstanding patient-centered care and surpassing patient expectations. We seek a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individual to fulfill the authorized responsibilities of a pharmacy technician as mandated by provincial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Technicians will possess the authority, responsibility, and accountability to prepare, process, and compound prescriptions, including:

Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from healthcare practitioners Verifying the completeness and authenticity of prescriptions Administering injections/vaccinations as permitted by regulations in specific jurisdictions Transferring prescriptions to and from other pharmacies Ensuring the accuracy of prepared prescriptions Conducting the final verification of prepared prescriptions Confirming the accuracy of medication and personal health information in patient records

Qualifications:

Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a dynamic environment
