Position Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in assisting with the management of prescription processing, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate data entry and medication packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input medication and patient details into pharmacy software.
  • Process third-party adjudications necessary for billing prescriptions.
  • Organize and file medication orders and prescriptions appropriately.
  • Transmit data to medication packaging systems.
  • Manage data within electronic medication administration records.
  • Act as the primary phone contact for program partners.
  • Generate and distribute reports from pharmacy software as required.
  • Prepare medications and associated documentation for delivery.
  • Adhere to safety standards and guidelines set by the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support overall operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry.
  • Experience with pharmacy management systems.
  • Preferred experience of at least two years in a pharmacy setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
