Evening Child Care Supervisor Position at YMCA of Northern Alberta

The YMCA of Northern Alberta is looking for a dedicated individual to take on the role of Evening Child Care Supervisor. This position involves overseeing and organizing all child care programs during evening hours.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday from 4:15 PM - 8:15 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee staff and volunteers
  • Ensure compliance with YMCA standards and policies
  • Address member concerns and issues in the absence of the supervisor
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, volunteers, and members
  • Coordinate the operations and services of the programs
  • Supervise participants and program instructors
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience in a similar role
  • Standard First Aid & CPR-C certifications
  • Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are mandatory
